I am very fortunate to work with such dedicated, innovative and caring staff members, parents and students. I find each day an adventure filled with new experiences, learning for all, and a chance to constantly widen our horizons. It always gives me a great pleasure to see the sea of smiling faces of children and I must admit that on many days it is the students who make my day a little brighter.
At Saraswati Convent School, Maur Mandi, the growth of each individual student is our focus. We firmly believe that every girl and boy can experience success and go on to graduate as a responsible, resilient and confident young adult, well prepared to take charge of their future and to become a productive member of the community.
Our curriculum and practices are consistently reviewed to ensure that we are following the most updated best practices, meeting all regulations, and addressing the future needs of our students. The system of education has become so dynamic that it is no longer enough to connect the dot; we need to think out of the box and think beyond a pattern.
The students at Saraswati Convent School are offered many opportunities to explore their interests and investigate new ideas. We offer many clubs, activities, sports and a large variety of musical ventures that our students can participate in. Many of our students are involved in a variety of extracurricular activities that allow them the opportunity to grow at their own pace in a safe, nurturing environment. Our list of clubs, activities and other extracurricular offerings are broadened each year with a hope to have something that interests every student.
The students are encouraged to take part in all the internal and external events and are given enough guidance and practice before being exposed to the competitions.
We cannot deny the contribution of our Management and the esteemed parents of our students as the belief and trust they repose on us, gives us the strength and confidence to march ahead towards fulfilling our mission, to provide the best nurturing environment to our students to strive, grow and achieve their goals.
The desire to achieve higher and higher in every field in this highly competitive world makes life stressful for children and often they become victims of depression and emotional breakdown. We teachers in school and parents at home shall try consciously to instill the belief among our children that failure does not make us aware of our weaknesses but strengthens our will power, our ability to judge situations and overcome difficulties without losing confidence.
If we are able to implant the seed of confidence at this tender age, they will imbibe the ability to shape their destiny and surely take themselves much higher up in life.
God Bless You All!
